Of all the trout fishing techniques, trolling is a favorite of many anglers. Trolling is simple enough for the most inexperienced angler and yet a favorite of many of the most experienced ones. It involves letting the line out the back of the boat and propelling the boat in front. The propulsion can either be motor or through the use of oars. Keep in mind you don't move too fast which sometimes makes trout lazy to swim after the bait.

When you go trout fishing remember to see that you have the right fishing equipment with you. This includes a rod and a reel. Do not use a rod that is too heavy as these are not sensitive enough to detect fish. Do not use a line that is too thick as the friction with the water results in bad fishing technique. Make sure to match the line with the rod weight. Keep a durable net with you
